One of our most popular projects is cabinet refinishing. We often refer to this project as our option for a ‘no demo reno’ because it can change the entire look of your space without creating a mess. The time frame and schedule we like to follow for a cabinet refinishing job is to visit the property to remove doors and drawers and bring them back to our spray booth. We will provide a factory finish on doors and drawer fronts for the best look possible. This is when holes from hardware would be filled if you want to switch out knobs and handles. We will paint the cabinet carcasses on-site with a small roller to achieve the same finish as the sprayer. Then the newly finished cabinet doors and drawers will be reinstalled for a kitchen that looks brand new.

How long does the project take?
Cabinet refinishing can often be a 7-day turn-around from when cabinet doors are taken off-site to be painted in our spray booth. Every project is different and sometimes takes longer than a week. Your project manager will be able to provide a more specific schedule and time frame for your project based on the number of cabinets and how many cabinet projects we have at the time.

What is the difference between paint and a stain?
The main difference between paint and stain is that paint sits on top of the surface while stain seeps into the surface. Paint also needs to be used with a primer while stain does not require the use of a primer before it is used.

What sheen of paint should I choose for my project?
Paint sheen often depends on personal preference and the look you are going for. We commonly recommend eggshell for cabinet refinishing projects. Reference our paint sheen guide for more details.

What warranty do you offer for projects?
